In Mayor Bowser’s Proclamation of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month on May 21 and an associated statement, she denounced the discrimination and harassment Asian Americans are facing as a result of the coronavirus and encouraged the DC community to come together in support of AAPIs. We thank her for her leadership in setting such an example for us all.
